Aim and Purpose:

The International Workshop on Extended-Nanofluidics is one of the initial workshops of nanofluidics, which is based on nanoscale engineering (nanofabrication, fluid control, detection), nanoscale liquid properties/fluid science, and applications for broad fields such as biology, medicine and energy engineering. We expect to bring together outstanding group of scientists at the forefront of research to intensively discuss the latest results and perspectives of this new science and engineering field.

Tour of NANOBIC

On March 27 afternoon, we will have a tour of nanofabrication facilities NANOBIC in Kawasaki-City.

NANOBIC is an advanced nanofablication hub managed by Kawasaki City and the 4 Universities Consortium (Univ. Tokyo, TIT, Keio Univ., Waseda Univ.).

http://www.kawasaki-net.ne.jp/sozo/en/index.php

We will have fruitful opportunity to discuss nanofabrication technologies during the tour. A bus is arranged for the Tour (50-70 minutes drive one way) .

You are very much welcome to join the tour.

Please send e-mail to symposium@icl.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp for your participation.

(1) Capacity of the tour: 50 persons

(2) Free of charge
