Ultrasensitive measurements
Due to extremely small sizes of microspace and extended nanospace, the number of molecules to be measured is also reduced in the analysis, and thus highly sensitive detection methods are required. Moreover, by using existing methods it become difficult to measure physical properties in extended nanospace. Therefore, we are working on the development of the following ultrasensitive measurement methods.
Spectroscopy
Photothermal Conversion Spectroscopy
- Thermal Lens Microscope (TLM)
- Electrochemical TLM
- Circular dichroism TLM
- Ultraviolet TLM
- Wavelength variable TLM
- Differential interference (DIC) TLM
- Photothermal Conversion Optical
Fluorescence Analysis
- Extended NanoParticle Image Velocimetry Measurement (PIV)
- Stimulated emission depletion microscopy (STED)
